12-year-old Colt Matz, son of Mike Matz (coach of Portville Baseball) and Christina Matz (teacher in Portville) has once again been diagnosed with Leukemia. This is the second time that Colt has received this diagnosis. Colt has already gone through a bone marrow transplant with his younger brother being the donor. Colt will now have to go through a second transplant. Colt loves being in the swimming pool and swimming the 50-yard Freestyle.
In order to help Colt and his family with medical and transportation costs, WNY Athletics is proud to announce that the proceeds of the WNY Athletics Baseball/Softball Day will go to him.
