Frewsburg 2, Randolph 3

Randolph grabbed their first win of the year when they knocked off league opponent Frewsburg 3-2.

Randolph entered the 7th inning trailing by one; Josh Brown drove in two RBIs during his last trip to the plate to give his team the victory.

Frewsburg’s Aaron Hair pitched five innings, only giving up a single hit and striking out ten. Nick Marsh went 2-3 with one RBI and one run.

Randolph’s Tommy Chapman pitched a complete game – giving up two runs, six hits and striking out five.

Chautauqua Lake 8, Panama 2

Chautauqua Lake kickstarted their season with an 8-2 non-league win over CCAA West II’s Panama.

Panama will travel to Pine Valley later this afternoon; Chautauqua Lake will host Dunkirk on April 1st @ 5pm.

Maple Grove 4, Southwestern 9

Southwestern downed Maple Grove 9-4 in their first outing and will look to make it a winning streak later this afternoon when they host Olean.

Maple Grove will travel to Panama on Monday.

Williamsville North 13, Grand Island 1

The Spartans delivered a convincing win over the NFL’s Grand Island to kick off the season.

Bryan Aduddle pitched four innings, giving up one hit and striking out eight. Jake Anderson gave up one hit and struck out four to finish off the game.

Dylan Wanat drove in four RBIs; Andrew Fairbrother hit his first home run of the season.

Both teams will be back in action later this afternoon; Williamsville North will make the trip up to Niagara Falls and Grand Island will head over to Sweet Home.
