BREAKING: Bradberry to Niagara Falls

One of the area’s top high school basketball players finally has a place to call home.

After his former school unexpectedly closed its doors for good in June, 2021 guard Jalen Bradberry has decided to stay in the county and head to basketball powerhouse Niagara Falls High School.

Bradberry confirmed the news to WNY Athletics Wednesday.

“I chose Niagara Falls of course because it’s my home city,” Bradberry told WNY Athletics, “but I also see the players they have and I’ve played with a lot of them growing up. I think we have a chance to be really good.”

Niagara Falls gains an athletic guard in Bradberry. He led Niagara Catholic to a 15-9 record and a Monsignor Martin Class B title this past season as a freshman. In eighth grade, he played for Niagara-Wheatfield in the Niagara Frontier League of Section VI.

In NFHS, Bradberry is going to one of the best programs in the area. It’s a much need bolster for the Wolverines after Roddy Gayle Jr. announced in May he was leaving to go to Lewiston-Porter.

Niagara Falls has dominated Class AA with three straight sectional titles.
