Buffalo, NY – The Annual Lions All-Star High School Football Classic presented by ADPRO Sports is on the move. The past two events were held at Williamsville South High School on Main St in the village of Williamsville. Next July, Buffalo State College will play host and the game will be played on Friday the 29th under the lights at 7pm.
Traditionally the game is played on the last Wednesday in July, as a kick-off towards the fall season that begins with practices in early August.
The game consists of 45 players, all seniors from the North and South regions with Main St being the dividing line.
This years coaches are Chuck Nagel (North) from Newfane and Dan Russell (South) of Lake Shore.
The Lions Club members were hoping that Buffalo State would welcome the event, now that lights were installed. Besides the lights, traffic, parking and accessibility to the athletic complex will add to the fan experience.
Williamsville South did a fabulous job hosting the past couple of years. The athletic complex there is one of the best in the area. Buff State has made a number of renovations in recent years to their facilities and this event will help showcase their improvements.
Tickets will remain the same, $15 with a discount for presale available to players and coaches.
WNYAthletics.com has agreed to livestream the event.
