The 38th annual Dick Gallagher Football Banquet was held this past Saturday and despite challenging weather that morning, over 250 people attended the event.

Dozens of awards were handed out to the area's top football players, coaches, teams, officials and contributors.

The banquet was sponsored by the Jolly Boys of Williamsville, the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo News and hosted by WNYAthletics at the Lake Erie Italian Club in Lackawanna, NY.

Ilio DiPaolo's catered the luncheon and Dennis DiPaolo was on hand throughout the ceremony.

Members of the Kensington Lions Club, Trench Trophy, Connolly Cup and WNYCFO were on hand as well in a show of support.

Preston Teague, Buffalo Bills Sr. Director of Youth Football and Programs was in attendance as well.
