Key Players Returning: All 3 players (listed below) are the captains for our team this year.

Mia Vannelli:10th grade, Catcher and SS.  3rd batter. ALL WNY 1st Team PLAYER AS A FRESHMAN.  Broke or Tied: 4 school records as a freshman.  (HR: 8, Average .610, and  OBP .689.)

Jordan Kanick: 11th grade, #1 Pitcher and 3b.  ALL WNY SMALL SCHOOL TEAM AS A SOPHOMORE. Our 4 Hitter.  Moves the ball well on the mound and also hit over .500 last season.

Mary Grace Bauer: C, 1b, 3b.  Versatile player who is a vocal leader for our team.

New Players to watch out for:  Natalie Witt (Jr.) Infielder could be our leadoff hitter and Ella Pagano Infielder should be towards the top of the batting lineup (8th grader).  Emma Hill (Sr.) anchors our outfield in CF.

Key Losses due to Graduation: Kennedy Cotton playing at Buff. St. this year.

Any Additional Information: The team expects to battle for the division title this season.  Division 3 should be wide open.  (Lake Shore has won it the past couple years.)  Lake Shore graduated a lot of seniors.  East Aurora came on strong at the end of last year almost knocking off Lake Shore in the quarterfinal playoff game. We are very young, but athletic.  Starting a 7th grader (Camryn Domino) and Ella Pagano (8th grader).  If our role players can play consistently behind the leaders, we will be a tough game for anyone.
