What Happened Yesterday

Iroquois won a tough victory over Orchard Park 3-2 as part of their 2019 Homecoming Celebration. The Lady Chiefs scored the first three goals of the game thanks to Ashley Pitz (assisted both times by Jillian Quinn) and Hanna Grucza, whose goal would become the eventual game winner with 5:11 left in the second half.



Orchard Park then scored the final two goals, the first by Cassie Fowler assisted by Grace Schmelzinger at 14:10 of the 2nd Half and the second goal in the last minute of play at 29:12 by Caroline Roll assisted by Karli Gregoire.

Madison Miranda was credited with the win in goal for the Chiefs.

Lacey Berghorn’s hat trick and a pair of goals Madison Brege (+1 assist) from helped lift Akron over Wilson 6-2. Oliva McClaine also scored for the Tigers and added an assist.

Anna Meyers and Olivia Mocarski scored for the Lakewomen.

Medina was able to hold Barker scoreless in the first half but a flurry of offense from the Raiders gave them a 6-0 win over the Mustangs.

Katrina Clare started the second half with a pair of goals to break the deadlock and assisted on another from Ciara Gregoire. Rachel Hurtgam followed up with a pair of goals (assisted by Gregoire and Clare respectively). Virginia Alexander (assisted by Serena Harris) capped off the scoring for Barker with a little under four minutes to play.

Courtney Hillman earned a 6-save shutout in goal for Barker who remains undefeated in N-O play and is 7-3 overall.
