Pioneer 2, Amherst 0

Senior Bella Addesa assisted on both goals and led the defense allowing only 4 shots on goal. Morgan McAfee and Olivia Kempf scored for the Panthers.

Williamsville East 2, Sweet Home 0

Grace Burker recorded her first shutout of the season in Williamsville East’s opening day victory over Sweet Home. Jessie Lovallo (1 goal – assisted by Aniya Evans and Laura Kaplan (1 goal – unassisted) scored for the Flames.

Roy-Hart 4, Kenmore-City Honors 0

Jamie Bower earned her first shutout of the year for Roy-Hart. Alexis Lovewell and Ashley Hill scored 2 goals each.

Kat Torres recorded 31 saves for Kenmore-City Honors.

Medina 2, Barker 7

Katrina Clare kicked off the scoring for Barker in their opening day 7-2 victory over Medina. After entering halftime with a 2-1 lead, Barker went on a 5-1 run in the second half to close out the game. Goals were scored by Katrina Clare (2), Ciara Gregoire (1), Rachel Hurtgam (2), Madison Gancasz (1) and Natalie Bruning (1).

Abby Blount and Libby Cook scored for Medina.

Akron 2, Wilson o

Ashley Reiner earned her first shutout of the season. Olivia Diebel (1 goal, 1 assist) and Alexis Bell (1 goal) scored for Akron.
