First Annual WNY Athletics Baseball Day to raise funds for Depew High School coach battling ALS
WNY Athletics is pleased to announce the inaugural WNY Athletics Baseball Day on Saturday, April 30th at Niagara Falls High School to raise funds for Depew High School Varsity Baseball Coach Dennis Crawley, who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), last year.
Dennis is the 27th member of his family to receive the diagnosis. He has had the pleasure of coaching hundreds of young men in baseball including at Depew High School, with the Aces Travel Baseball program, as well as many other teams and programs, all of which he has had a huge impact on. His love for the game began when he was coping with the loss of his mother from ALS when he was seven years old.
The day-long event will feature 16 high school baseball teams from Western New York competing in eight games on the two fields at Niagara Falls High School.
All proceeds will go to Dennis Crawley and his family.
