Commentary: Injuries are piling up. To the athletes unable to return before the end of the season, I’m thinking especially of you. Your hard work, sacrifice, dedication to your teammates and coaches is not forgotten. During your time of recovery, you can still be a big help to your program. Continue to check in with your coaches, I’m sure they can use your help with stats, film work and taking care of the small things. It’s ok to be upset that you’re not on the field contributing physically but you need to deal with it. You can still be a positive influence. Take care. See you on the sidelines.
