Franklinville senior Nolan Palmatier achieved his 100th career win at the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverine Scuffle on Friday, becoming the first wrestler in over two decades to reach that milestone in the Franklinville program.

“I am proud of Nolan because he is a three-sport athlete with a high A GPA,” said Franklinville head coach Scott Palmatier, who is also Nolan’s uncle. “He could have focused on wrestling but he realizes that at a small school like ours, to be successful we need all the athletes we can get.”

With the milestone, Nolan becomes the seventh Franklinville wrestler to join the century club. Two-time NYS champion Chad Caros was the last Panther wrestler to achieve 100 wins in the program 23-years ago. The Panthers’ all-time wins leader is Dan Weller who has held the record since 1993 with 128 career victories.
