Medina Tops Park 6-1

Medina/Lyndonville won their second game of the season defeating Park School 6-1. Vassilios Bitsas was the man of the match with 2 goals and 3 assists.

This game started with William Derrick of Park School scoring a lightning quick goal in just the 1st minute. However, the Mustangs regrouped and scored six unanswered goals.

Bitsas got the Mustangs on the board with a goal in the 14th min with the assist coming from Ethan Leonard. Bitsas scored his second goal just 7 minutes later in the 21st min with the assist coming from Kristian Snyder. Leonard put the Mustangs up 3-1 with his goal at the 25th min (assist from Bitsas) and Trenton Jones closed out the first half with a great header off a Matt Hess cross.

In the second half, after a number of scoring chances the Mustangs added two more insurance goals when Leonard found the back of the net twice, once in 52nd min and again in the 60th min (Bitsas assisted on both goals).

Medina/Lyndonville (2-0) will look to stay unbeaten as they hosted league rival Akron this Thursday. Park School (0-1) will try to rebound as they visit Tapestry Charter this Thursday.
