NYSPHSAA Duals – Section VI Preview

The second NYSPHSAA Dual Meet Championships kick off on Saturday morning at 9am on the campus of Onondaga Community College just south of Syracuse.

Section VI has three teams entered in the tournament. Falconer makes its second trip to the NYS ‘Duals’ to represent Section VI Div. II. Both Olean and Niagara Wheatfield are making their first appearances at the ‘Duals.’

Both divisions have twelve total teams entered. Each team has been seeded or drawn into to a pool of three teams for a round-robin style event. Each team is guaranteed two duals with the winner of each of the four pools advancing to the semifinal. The semifinal winners will have a chance to compete for the overall NYS Division I and Division II championships in the evening’s final match.

Below is a brief look at each of the Section VI team’s pool opponents:

Division I
