Section VI Girls Soccer Season Preview 2025

CCAA 1

Allegany-Limestone Lady Gators

Allegany-Limestone once again claimed the league title, with an 18-2-0 overall record and 10-2-0 record in division before losing in the Sectional Final to Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove. Caitlyn Kellogg led the team in scoring with 28 goals and 9 assists, but she has moved on to graduation, along with Addie Fisher, Taylor Foster, Moira Walsh, Abby Peck, Liza Giardini, and goalkeeper Chloe Baker.

Madison Honeck (2026) will now be the focal point of the offense, looking to build off her 15 goals and 16 assists from last season’s run. Her younger sister Kennedy Honeck (2028) had 6 goals and 12 assists, 6th on the team in points behind her sister and four of the graduating seniors.

With Chloe Baker now also graduated, the big question for the Gators will be goaltending, as Baker was between the pipes for every game in 2024. Allegany-Limestone opens their season on the road on Friday August 29th at 4:30PM against the defending Class C champion Frewsburg Lady Bears. A-L’s non-league schedule also includes home games on September 5th against Pioneer and September 12th against Frewsburg, concluding with a Saturday matinee on the road against North Tonawanda on September 20th.

Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove Lady Golden Cougars

The league runner ups became the Section VI Class B champions, snapping a decade-long drought for Falconer (6 years for Maple Grove, first ever for Cassadaga Valley) before falling 2-1 in the Far West Regional to Section V’s Hornell. The big senior losses for Falconer are Natalie Dossey and Alex Caldwell. Dossey served as captain and spent time in both the midfield and defense last season, chipping in 2 goals and 2 assists in her senior campaign. Caldwell had 4 goals and 8 assists as an outside midfielder.

Kylie Kress and Julianna Roth, both juniors this upcoming season, led the Cougars on offense - with Kress scoring 24 goals and recording 12 assists, and Roth adding 19 goals and 10 assists. Both made appearances in the NY/PA Corporate Cup in July, with Kress recording 2 goals and an assist, and Roth adding an assist in the victory. The duo also played for the WNY Flash in the spring, with Roth being named to the ECNL G09 All-Conference First Team. Joining them are six upcoming seniors - Madilyn Seastrum, Mary Lundmark, Khloe Livengood, Brynn Helms, Mackenzie Keeler, and Gracie Chimera. Lundmark was third on the team with 11 goals and 4 assists despite missing four games. Ellyson Baglia returns between the pipes for Falconer, coming off a season where she had a 0.80 GAA and 0.848 save percentage, stopping 95 of 112 shots faced.

The Lady Golden Cougars begin their title defense unofficially with a scrimmage at Randolph on September 2nd, before they open their regular season on September 8th against Olean at home. F/CV/MG has a tough non-league schedule this season - boasting games against Monsignor Martin’s St Mary’s of Lancaster for a Saturday night game at home on September 13th, a road game at Pioneer on September 26th, and then a home-and-home with Frewsburg - September 20th on the road and October 13th at home. Their home game on Wednesday, September 24th against Portville will be live-streamed on the NFHS Network, in partnership with WNY Athletics.

Southwestern Lady Trojans

Southwestern finished third in division, coach Derek Houser’s group posting a 12-6-0 overall record with a 7-4-0 in division record before falling in the Class B semifinal to eventual runner-up and league foe Allegany-Limestone. Kaylyn Carnes and Marlana Cresanti both finished the season with 16 goals and 11 assists, leading the team in both categories - despite Carnes missing the final four games of her senior season due to injury. Joining her in moving on due to graduation are Ellie Pearson, Mallory Atwater, and Emma Malmstrom-Jouannet, all of which played key roles for the Trojans that will need to be filled.

The aforementioned Cresanti will likely be the focal point of the offense with Carnes graduation, and the midfielder will look to build on her strong season last year into her junior year. Avery Johnson will be one of the key seniors for the Lady Trojans - also recording 16 goals last season and chipping in 6 assists. Braya Beaver will be between the pipes for her senior season - coming off a campaign where she posted a 1.10 GAA and .771 save percentage. With the Lady Trojans only two seasons removed from a sectional crown and Far West Regional appearance, they will look to regain their place at the top of the mountain.

Southwestern opens up their season on the road against Pioneer on Friday August 29th, a 6PM kickoff. They will play a home-and-home non league series with Frewsburg - September 5th at Frewsburg and Saturday October 4th at home under the lights. A Saturday 3PM kickoff at Wilson on September 20th concludes the non league portion of Southwestern’s schedule.

Fredonia Lady Hillbillies

Fredonia would finish fourth in CCAA I, with a 6-11-0 overall record and a 3-7-0 mark in league play, being bounced in the section pre-quarterfinals by way of a 2-0 defeat to Roy-Hart. Piper Walnicki is among the graduating seniors, after finishing 2nd on the team in scoring with 4 goals and 2 assists in her final high school season. Joining her in graduation are Natalia DiPalma, and Haylee Babar.

Cece Tonelli was a bright spot on offense for the Lady Hillbillies, leading the team with 14 goals and 5 assists in her freshman season, and will be the focal point of the offense in her sophomore season. Naomi Muck will return in goal for her junior year, coming off a season where she posted a 2.83 GAA and .814 save percentage.

Fredonia opens their season with a league contest at Portville on August 29th, scheduled for 4:30PM. Their non-league schedule includes a road game against Randolph on September 6th at 11AM, a Friday road trip to Silver Creek/Forestville on September 12th, and concludes at 4:30pm on October 10th with a home game against Chautauqua Lake.

Jamestown Red & Green

Jamestown finished 5th in division, posting a 4-12-1 overall record and 2-7-1 league record. An already young team loses some senior experience from last season - with Madison Burgess, Myah Crossley, Jillian Sharp, Kate Kathman, and Kaylee Leeper all moving on.

Jason Kathman takes over as head coach for the Red & Green for 2025, and will have a trio of freshmen that are looking to continue to develop and bring Jamestown back to the top after claiming the program’s first league crown just a few seasons ago. Those freshmen are Kinsley Berg, Payton Gibbs, and Carley Daniels - all of which played full seasons as 8th graders last season. Berg led the team with 7 goals and added two assists, with Gibbs adding 3 goals and 9 assists, and Daniels adding 2 goals and 5 assists. As this team gets more varsity experience, they will look to mold back into a contender.

The Red & Green open their season with a home match against West Seneca on August 28th, set for 4:30PM at Strider Field. Their non-league schedule also consists of games against Randolph on September 12th at 7 PM, and then a home and home with Frontier - on the road September 22nd and then at home on Saturday October 11th.

Olean Lady Huskies

Olean finished at the bottom of the division in 2024, with a 1-15-1 overall record and 0-9-1 league mark. No roster was listed for the team on the Section 6 website or Maxpreps.

The Lady Huskies open the 2025 campaign with a league contest against Allegany-Limestone at 7 PM on September 3rd. Their nonleague schedule includes games against Salamanca on September 12th and October 17th.

Portville Lady Panthers

The 2024 CCAA 2 champions have a new challenge for 2025 - navigating an already competitive CCAA 1 division. The Lady Panthers boasted a 14-2-1 overall record, going 11-1-1 in CCAA 2. They lose a considerable amount of experience in seven graduating seniors - Gianna Aloi, Ashley Carls, Natalie Reynolds, Emily Collins, Anna Elsigan, Zya Degolier, and Matilde Brotto.

Coach Michael Matz returns his leading goal scorer, who finished third in the section in goals - incoming junior Grace Gariepy. The speedy forward finished her sophomore campaign with 33 goals and 5 assists, and will look to build on those marks after her spring season with the WNY Flash, in which she was named to the ECNL All-Conference Team, and an appearance in the NY/PA Corporate Cup. Ava Edwards and Allie Bray with 8 goals each last season are the next two leading returning scorers for Portville. Bella Morales enters her senior season between the posts, coming off a season where she posted an impressive 0.40 GAA and 0.833 save percentage.

The Lady Panthers jump right into league play to start the season, hosting Fredonia on August 29th at 4:30 PM. Their nonleague schedule includes games against Buffalo Public Schools on September 19th at home, Cuba-Rushford on October 11th at home, and concludes at home on October 17th at home versus Ellicottville.

CCAA II

Ellicottville Lady Eagles

The 2024 Class D Champions will have some interesting challenges awaiting them in 2025. The Lady Eagles finished the season 12-5-1 overall, with an 8-3-1 mark in league before falling in the Far West Regional to Section V’s Keshequa by a score of 3-0. Three key players will be lost to graduation - leading scorer Addison John, who had 16 goals and 3 assists to lead the team in points, Jayden Doutt, third leading scorer on the team, and goalkeeper Courtney Marsh, whose 1.13 GAA was among the top 10 in goalies who played a minimum of 1000 minutes last season.

Drew Ficek, who potted 12 goals and 9 assists last season, will now be the focal point of the offense in her senior season. Teaghan Finn will also be a senior this year, and will be expected to be a factor on the back line for Ellicottville. The team will have seven returning seniors, and seven juniors and one sophomore joining them.

Ellicottville opens the season at home on August 28th against Chautauqua Lake at 4:30PM. They will battle North Collins in a sectional final rematch on September 12th at 5PM, also a home game. Their two league battles against Randolph are slated for September 15th at Ellicottville and October 1st at Randolph. They are moving up to Class C this season, and will look to compete among the 11 team field.

Randolph Lady Cardinals

After a second place finish in CCAA 2 last season, Randolph has the opportunity to seize the league crown with the aforementioned departure of Portville. After finishing with a 13-4-2 overall record and 10-1-2 league record, the Lady Cardinals upset the Class C 1-seed in Holland in the semifinals by way of a 2-1 victory, before being shutout in the Class C Final at Allegany-Limestone by perennial powerhouse Frewsburg, 2-0.

Randolph will have to go without two of their top three scorers for 2025 - with Quinn Pence (10 goals, 16 assists) and Sadie Steward (21 goals, 7 assists) moving on to graduation. Sara Smith is the only other senior from last season that has moved on beyond the high school level.

Fortunately for head coach Alexa Troutman and her staff, leading scorer Gianna Bowles returns for her senior season after posting 24 goals and 21 assists as a junior. Stella Smith will return between the posts for the Lady Cardinals, looking to build off her 0.85 GAA and 0.880 SV% last season.

Randolph will open their season on August 27th on the road in a playoff rematch against Holland, set for a 5:00 PM kickoff. They’ll host Fredonia on September 6th at 11AM, and will have an under the lights non league road game against Jamestown on September 12th. They will host the aforementioned Ellicottville on October 1st.

Salamanca Lady Warriors

After a 7-8-1 overall record and 6-6-0 league mark a season ago, Salamanca looks to continue to build off of that season and break out as a contender in Class B. Four players have moved on to graduation - Madisyn Lafferty, who was second in scoring with 5 goals, Maylina Massagli, Summer Downey, who made an appearance at the NY/PA Corporate Cup in July, and Izabella Milks.

After leading the team as an 8th grader with seven goals, Eloise Brown will likely be the focal point of this young team on offense. They’ll also lean on senior Leilene McComber for some added experience, herself putting up four goals and four assists a season ago. Aaliyah Winship returns in goal for the Lady Warriors, looking to improve her 3.14 GAA and 0.756 SV% for her junior campaign.

The Lady Warriors kick off their season with a trip to Eden on August 27th, set for 7PM for the first half of a home-and-home, with the two teams facing off at Salamanca on August 30th at 11AM. They will face Randolph on September 17th and October 6th, and will square off with Ellicottville on September 22nd and October 8th.

Pine Valley/Gowanda Lady Panthers

Pine Valley/Gowanda came home fifth in division last season, finishing with a 4-13-0 overall record and 3-9-0 in division record before being ousted in the Class B Pre-Quarterfinal by eventual champion Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove. Coach Karah Herman and company will have to overcome the void of leading goal scorer and captain Sarah Kruszka, who posted 12 goals and 3 assists in her senior season. Kruszka also participated in the NY/PA Corporate Cup in July, captaining the New York Gold team to a 7-1 victory, and being awarded the sportsmanship award. Starting goalkeeper Destiny Lindquist has also moved on to graduation.

Fortunately, incoming junior Sandy Ivett should be slotting into the starting goalkeeper role after splitting time with Lindquist in net last season. This will be another young team in this division, with a returning roster of four seniors, six juniors, two sophomores, three freshmen, and two 8th graders.

The Lady Panthers will open the fall 2025 season at home on August 28th against Silver Creek/Forestville, followed up by a non league contest with Dunkirk on September 2nd. Both games against Ellicottville are in September - the 10th at home, and the 29th at Ellicottville.

Cattaraugus-Little Valley Lady Timberwolves

It can only go up from Cattaraugus-Little Valley, after posting a 2-14-0 overall and 2-10-0 league record, and not participating in 2024 sectionals. Leading goal scorer Talon Bramer returns for her senior season, after netting 9 goals and an assist last season. Candice Brown chipped in on offense with three goals and two assists, and also returns for her senior season. Kierra Knobloch will return in goal for the Lady Timberwolves.

Catt-Little Valley opens their season on the road against Silver Creek/Forestville on September 3rd at 4:30PM. They play host to North Collins on September 8th, and finish their season at Randolph on October 8th followed by hosting Ellicottville on October 15th.

Franklinville Lady Panthers

Franklinville also is looking to improve from a tough season last year, after a 1-15-1 overall mark and 1-13-1 league record, and a loss in the Section VI Class D semifinal to eventual runner up North Collins. For 2025, Franklinville will be the lone Section VI Class D representative in girls soccer.

Nadia Bowers led the team with two goals and an assist, and the Panthers will use their young roster to try to bolster their offense. Molly Witter, who had a goal and an assist herself, will be the primary scoring option this season. Taylor Chase returns in net, coming off an appearance in the NY/PA Corporate Cup as one of two goalies for the New York gold team.

Franklinville opens their season on the road against Holland, set for a 10AM kickoff on August 26th. They’ll host Randolph on September 10th, and pay the Cardinals a visit on September 29th. The Lady Panthers host Ellicottville on September 17th and then face the Eagles on the road on October 6th.

CCAA III

Frewsburg Lady Bears

Coach Scott Stone’s group posted a 17-2-0 overall record, with a perfect 10-0-0 division record, defeating Randolph in the Section VI Class C Final 2-0, before falling in an overtime heartbreaker to Section V rival Byron-Bergen, who were the eventual state champions in Class C. The Lady Bears have some seismic losses up front and on the backline - including 2024 Section VI leading goal scorer Ava Jimerson, who finished with 43 goals and 17 assists. Twin sister Taytum Jimerson added 17 goals and 25 assists on offense as well. Kaylee Cappa and Kealy Caflisch were important pieces to the backline for Frewsburg, with Caflisch playing for NCAA D3 Edinboro beginning this fall.

Frewsburg will have three key players returning and looking to make their mark. Jaden Jimerson will look to fill the void her older sisters leave, after scoring 8 goals and adding 12 assists as a freshman. Audrey Eckwahl enters her junior season after finishing 4th in the section in scoring with 29 goals and 17 assists as an anchor in the midfield. She also appeared in the NY/PA Corporate Cup as a member of the New York gold roster. In goal, Elysse Gruber stands tall after a 0.43 GAA and .920 SV% last season as a freshman, also appearing in the NY/PA Corporate Cup, but as a member of the New York silver roster. Coach Stone speaks highly of Gruber, and she will be relied on this season to guide the backline to help her out. Stone also remarked that this will be the youngest team he has had since Frewsburg’s first of their six consecutive sectional crowns.

The Lady Bears host 2024 Class B runner ups Allegany-Limestone on August 29th to open their season. Their non-league schedule consists of another road game against the Lady Gators, and then home-and-homes with Southwestern and Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove.

Chautauqua Lake Lady Eagles

Chautauqua Lake came home second in league, with a 7-8-0 record overall but a respectable 7-3-0 league mark. Leading scorer Jada Cole graduated in the spring, and will be off to NCAA D3 Edinboro after ending her Lady Eagles career with a 15 goal and 5 assist season. Paige Zarpentine, who was third in scoring, will also be among the graduated losses.

Avery Cannon posted two goals and two assists her sophomore season and will look to fill the void left by the departing Cole. Ava Zarpentine, who also had two goals last season, will look to also add some scoring depth. Lucy Gates returns to the net for her senior season.

The Lady Eagles open their season on August 28th in a battle of the Eagles, as they visit Ellicottville with a 4:30PM kick off. They have a home-and-home with Randolph this season - September 4th at Randolph at 4:30PM, and October 21st at home at 7PM. They will also host Fredonia on September 11th at 4:30PM, and will once again host North Collins under the lights, this year on October 8th at 7PM.

North Collins Lady Eagles

North Collins had a nice season last year, with an 11-7-0 record overall and 6-4-0 league record before a hard fought loss to Ellicottville in the Section VI Class D Final. Coach Vincent Fininzio loses his leading scorer in Breanna Kaczanowski, who posted 13 goals and 8 assists in her senior season. Miranda Bartosik, who scored 7 goals and was a key piece in the midfield, also moves on to graduation.

Jenna Sickau was second on the team in scoring with 9 goals and 2 assists, and returns for her senior season as the focal point of the offense for North Collins. Isabella Contro, who impressed with her speed last season, will add some depth scoring as well, after posting 7 goals and 5 assists. Mya Tanis, after stepping in goal for the injured Meadow Mitchell last season, will return in between the posts for the Lady Eagles, with Mitchell also graduating.

North Collins’ first game is set for September 4th, however that opponent has yet to be announced. Other games worth noting are a September 12th visit to Ellicottville, with a 5pm kickoff. They will host Eden for a Saturday matinee game against Eden on September 20th. Late in the season, they have a road trip to Buffalo Seminary on October 3rd, and then an October 8th league duel with Chautauqua Lake set for 7PM.

Silver Creek/Forestville Lady Knights

Silver Creek/Forestville finished 9-8-0 overall last season, posting a 4-6-0 league record before falling to Southwestern in the Section VI Class B Pre-Quarterfinal. Marissa Grisanti, who led the team with 16 goals and 6 assists, is the key senior loss for this group.

Abby Cook was second on the team with 9 goals and 12 assists in her freshman season, and will be at the forefront of the Lady Knights offense this upcoming season. Joining her are Carilene Sliwa and Rylee Weiskerger, with Sliwa adding 7 goals and 8 assists, and Weiskerger 3 goals and 3 assists in their season last year. Sliwa was a member of the Forestville softball team that made a run to the state tournament in Binghamton in June, and perhaps maybe there’s a little bit of that magic in store in the fall for soccer.

The Lady Knights open with a non-league contest on the road against Pine Valley/Gowanda, set for a 4:30PM kickoff on August 28th. Other games of note include a home match against Fredonia on September 12th at 4:30pm, a road trip to Lake Shore on September 26th, and then a road night game at Chautauqua Lake at 7PM.

Westfield/Brocton Lady Wolverines

Westfield/Brocton finished 5th in CCAA 3 last season, concluding with a 3-9-2 overall record, going 2-7-1 in league and opting out of Sectional play. Naomi Ottery is the lone senior lost to graduation, and she was second on the team in points after recording four goals and two assists.

The rest of the roster from last season returns, including leading goalscorer Avery Swank, who will enter her senior season coming off of a season where she posted six goals and one assist to lead the team. Classmates Sophia Wolfe and Grace Graham join her - Wolfe scoring a goal and adding two assists as a centerpiece of the midfield, with Grace Graham holding down the back line.

The Lady Wolverines open their 2025 season at home against Salamanca with a 4:30PM kick off. They have a non-league contest on the road against Ellicottville at 4:30PM, and among the league schedule are road trips to Chautauqua Lake (Sept 24th, 4:30PM) and Silver Creek/Forestville (October 8th, 4:30PM).

Dunkirk Lady Marauders

After having to forfeit their 2023 season due to injuries, Dunkirk returned to action in 2024 as a member of CCAA 3, dropping down from CCAA 1. They finished 1-14-1 overall and 0-9-1 in league play, but fortunately they can only go up. They will be without their leading scorer Lauryn McCracken, who has moved on to graduation. She scored 12 goals and added 4 assists in her senior campaign.

Analiz Rivera comes in as a junior and will be the focus of the offense for the Lady Marauders, hoping to build off her three goals and three assists from last season. Jasiret Orsinin (senior) and Celeste Bautista (junior) also return this season, the latter is expected to be the starting goalkeeper after playing a majority of the minutes in that position last season.

Dunkirk opens up on the road on Thursday September 2nd at Pine Valley/Gowanda at 4:30PM, which will be followed up with a 4:30pm home match that Friday against Cattaraugus-Little Valley.

ECIC I

Clarence Lady Red Devils

The Class AA champions had themselves a fine season last year, rolling to a 19-2-0 record and unblemished 13-0-0 record in league play. They defeated Section V powerhouse Spencerport 2-0 in Far Wests, but their run came to an end at the hands of Albertus Magnus by way of a 1-0 double overtime loss to the eventual state champions. Team assist leader Allison Glaude is among the key senior losses, racking up 17 assists to go with 3 goals from the midfield. Sadie LaDelfa and Kenzie McNicholas also have graduated, the latter spending time in goal and in the field last season.

Among the returnees for the Lady Red Devils are team goals leader Emma Payne, whose 33 goals were enough to put the freshman third in the entirety of Section VI a season ago. Breanna Hurley returns for her senior season tending the goal for Clarence, where she had a 0.27 GAA and .986 save percentage, allowing just four goals last season.

Clarence opens their season at home at 11 AM on August 29th against Williamsville East. They have another non-league contest against another Class A powerhouse in Williamsville South on October 3rd, set for 7 PM. Among their league schedule is a September 25th visit to Orchard Park and an October 10th visit to Lancaster.

Lancaster Lady Legends

Lancaster claimed the Class AAA crown for the third consecutive season, but were upended by Fairport in the Far West Regional, ending the season with an 11-7-1 overall mark and 8-4-1 ECIC I record. Their second leading scorer in Samantha Catlin is among the senior losses, along with Makayla Brown and Alexa Wolf.

Leading goal scorer Laila Sengbusch comes off a 20 goal and 7 assist mark as a freshman to once again lead the charge for the Legends. Classmate Quinn Longo, who was the third leading scorer for Lancaster, is also returning. Emma Schulmeister returns as goalkeeper for Lancaster, entering her senior season.

Lancaster, just like Clarence, opens their season with a home game against Williamsville East, this game being played on August 27th with a 5:30 PM kickoff. Among their league schedule is a home game against Williamsville North on September 5th, and two road games - September 17th at Frontier, and October 8th at Orchard Park.

Orchard Park Lady Quakers

Orchard Park saw great improvement in 2024, posting a 9-9-0 overall record and 7-5-0 ECIC I record, despite fielding almost an entire new team after losing 12 seniors between the 2023 and 2024 seasons. The Lady Quakers made it to the Section VI Class AA Quarterfinals but were ousted by 3-seed Niagara Wheatfield. They will lose another good chunk of seniors this year, including leading goal scorer Abigail Thorpe, who found twine 10 times last season and added 5 assists. Starting goalkeeper Ada Canzoneri is also gone to graduation, after posting a 1.55 GAA and .793 save percentage in her final season.

The Lady Quakers will turn to incoming junior Lily Wisniewski to lead the offense, finishing second on the team in scoring last season with 5 goals and 4 assists. Classmate Madison Schunke and incoming senior Caedyn Courtney also had 5 goals apiece last season and will look to complement Wisniewski on the offensive front. Junior Anna Jones is expected to take over the reins in goal after making three appearances between the posts in 2024.

Orchard Park will open the season on the road against the two time defending Section VI Class A champions Lewiston-Porter, set for August 26th at 4 PM. They also have a non-league contest at home versus Amherst set for September 16th. Their league schedule includes a September 8th visit to Clarence, and then home games on October 1st against West Seneca and October 9th against Lancaster.

Williamsville North Lady Spartans

The Lady Spartans came home 4th in ECIC I in 2024, finishing with a 11-5-2 overall mark, and a 7-5-1 league record, making it to the Section VI Class AA Semifinal before being ousted by eventual champion Clarence. Portia Snyder, who was third on the team with six goals, and adding 5 assists, is one of the five senior graduates that will not be on the team in 2025 - Autumn Brown, the Spartans’ starting goalkeeper, being another of those five.

Allison Besancon returns for her senior season after leading Williamsville North with 19 goals and 7 assists in 2024. Classmate Sadie Griffin returns, looking to build off her 6 goal, 5 assist performance last fall.

Williamsville North opens their season on the road on August 28th at Niagara-Wheatfield, and will have a balanced non-league schedule - including the likes of Monsignor Martin’s Nichols on September 2nd, defending Class A Champion Lewiston-Porter on September 9th, a road game against crosstown rival Williamsville East on September 27th, and then an early October matchup against Buffalo Public Schools. They will face Clarence on September 19th and October 14th as part of their league slate of games.

Frontier Lady Falcons

Frontier finished out 11-7-0 overall, going 6-6-0 in ECIC I play in 2024, before losing a close Section VI Class AA Quarterfinal game to 2-seed Lockport. Their three key seniors - Ella Chowjdak, Aly Gleason, and Mary Hinds - all spent their time mostly in the midfield or defense last season, Chowjdak providing three goals in her final season.

Julia Ford returns for her senior season to goalkeep for the Lady Falcons, posting a 1.05 GAA and 0.830 SV% last season. Leading goalscorer Marissa Tirado - an incoming sophomore - returns after scoring 13 goals and adding 3 assists last season, and will once again be the main focus of the offense. Reese Downey and Reagan Healy, a senior and junior, respectively, will look to add some scoring depth for Frontier.

Frontier opens the 2025 campaign on August 28th at 5 PM against cross-town rival Hamburg. They will host Iroquois on October 1st, and will visit Jamestown for a mid-afternoon Saturday matchup on October 11th.

West Seneca Lady Warhawks

West Seneca wrapped up last season with a 3-14-0 record, going 2-11-0 in league play. Their leading goal scorer, Treasure Crawford, is one of the seven seniors that have moved on to graduation, the rest including Taylor Blamowski, Alex Weaver, Samantha Miller, Caysie Riker, Lorelai Urbanski, and Carolyn Morris.

Bella Sellan enters her senior season coming off of a four goal performance last season, and will be the focal point of the offense for 2025. Riley Kawalac returns in goal for West Seneca.

The Lady Warhawks open their season on the road against Jamestown on August 28th, with other nonleague games including a visit to Kenmore West on September 3rd, and then September home games against Hamburg (22nd) and Springville (30th).

Sweet Home Lady Panthers

Rounding out ECIC I is Sweet Home, who finished 1-16-0 overall and were winless in their twelve league matches in 2024. McKenna Flatau and Kimaya Hall are the key senior losses for the Lady Panthers.

All three scorers for Sweet Home - Ja’Lynn Batchelor, Avery Priamo, and Sofia Guadagna all return this fall, and hope that a young Panthers team can find some success with the new season.

ECIC II

Williamsville South Lady Billies

The league champions finished 12-4-2 on the season, with a 10-1-0 record in ECIC II under head coach Carissma Cutrona, making it to the Section VI Class A Semifinal before falling to eventual champion Lewiston-Porter in a close 3-2 game. Leading scorer Ava Plezia, who finished in a 3-way tie for 7th in the section with 29 goals, is among the senior losses for the Lady Billies in 2025. Paige Szymanski, who was the third highest scorer on the team, has also moved on, along with Emily Ballard, who spent some time in goal last season.

Hailey Heimback returns for her senior season to tend the goal after being the main starter in 2024, posting a 1.36 GAA and .809 save percentage. Classmate Morgan McCormick returns after scoring 6 goals, but dishing out a team-high 14 assists last season. Tessa Petrie also returns as a key contributor, scoring 5 goals and 6 assists last season as a junior.
