Spartans Advance to 2-0

The Boys Varsity Soccer team improved to a perfect 2-0 in the league with a 6-0 dominant win over Pioneer yesterday. The Spartans had 46 shots throughout the game, without giving up any shots to Pioneer and preserving the shutout. Every single member of the team contributed to the strong performance and the win.

Sam Wagner scored two goals on the day, while Max Balko, Dan Mascaro, Drew Santangelo, and Matt Warner added one goal a piece. Sam Wagner also had two assists, while Max Balko, Kyle Harrington, Dan Mascaro, and Cole Saraf added one assist as well.

The Spartans next games are this weekend at Lockport High School for the Lockport Soccer Tournament. The first game will be on Friday night at 5pm against Nichols and will play at 1pm on Saturday for the championship if they win on Friday. Come out and support your Spartans!
