Williamsville East senior Clayton Osborne has been selected as the WNY Athletics boys’ lacrosse Athlete Of the Week for Week One of the 2019 season (Mon 3/18 – Sat 3/23).
The senior captain and midfielder helped lead the Flames to a 2-0 record in the first week of competition in the new season.
Osborne scored four goals and added two assists in East’s 11-4 win over Amherst on opening day. Two days later, Clayton recorded a goal and an assist and picked up ten ground balls in the Flames’ 9-8 win over the defending Section VI Class A champion Lancaster.
