WNY Athletics Boys Lacrosse Athlete Of the Week: Keelan Seneca

Salamanca senior midfielder Keelan Seneca has been selected as the WNY Athletics Boys Lacrosse Athlete Of the Week for Week Five of the 2019 season (April 15th – April 19th).

Keelan Seneca had another big week tallying twenty-four points in the Warriors’ two wins. On Tuesday against Class D rival Akron, Keelan netted four goals and contributed six assists helping the Warriors to an 18-12 win over the returning Class D champion. Then, on Wednesday, Seneca totaled fourteen points, scoring six goals and contributing eight assists in a 26-14 win over Gowanda.

Keelan has been a huge part of Salamanca’s 8-1 start and perfect 7-0 record in Class D leading up to the spring break. At the end of Week Five the Warriors are on top of the class standings with only two Class D games remaining before the playoffs. Keelan is also committed to continue his academic and athletic career for Division 1 lacrosse powerhouse University at Albany Great Danes.
