WNY Athletics Boys Wrestler of the Week presented by Hamburg Radiator Auto &Air: Kamren Anderson

Randolph senior Kamren Anderson has been selected as the WNY Athletics Boys Wrestler of the Week presented by Hamburg Radiator Auto & Air for the week of Monday, January 12th – Sunday, January 18th, 2026

Kamren had another big week for the Cardinals in his senior season. First on Wednesday, he earned a head to head win for crucial team bonus points against defending league champion and #7 WNY small school Gowanda that ultimately helped Randolph to a 40-39 win. The victory for the Cardinals could prove crucial as the league title race in CCAA II heats up.

Then on Saturday, Kamren cruised to the Lockport Invitational 103-pound title picking up technical falls in the quarter and semifinal rounds before earning an 8-6 decision in the title match to claim the bracket while improving to 19-2 overall this winter.  

According to his coaches, Kamren has taken the lessons of wrestling to improve himself both on and off the mat over the course of his career at Randolph and in the classroom. He displays good character in showing good sportsmanship to his competitors. Kamren also took on playing football for the first time last fall for the Cardinals.
