WNY Athletics Boys Wrestler of the Week presented by Hamburg Radiator Auto & Air: Quinn Martin

St. Mary’s senior Quinn Martin has been selected as the WNY Athletics Boys Wrestler of the Week presented by Hamburg Radiator Auto & Air for the week of Monday, December 15th – Saturday, December 20th, 2025.

Quinn went 6-0 for the week for the Lancers improving his season record to 13-0 including ten pins. On Tuesday, Quinn earned a major decision in the Lancers’ dual against Lockport. On Friday and Saturday, Quinn went a perfect 5-0 with four pins and a technical fall to claim the 138-pound title at the Linda Knuutila Memorial Tournament at SUNY Niagara. Two of his wins included dominating performances over two returning NYS tournament qualifiers. Also on Saturday, Quinn achieved the 100 career wins milestone becoming only the second Lancer to do so in program history.

Quinn is a four year wrestler at St. Mary’s High School and a past 2x CHSAA Tournament place winner. As a well-balanced student-athlete, Quinn also serves as the senior class president and carries a top-10 GPA in his class. He also participates in cross country, soccer, and rugby and is a standout chess player and emerging bass guitar enthusiast. He has also accumulated many volunteer hours and has even participated in a mission trip to Mexico.

According to his coaches, Quinn is a consummate leader in school and on the wrestling team as a two year captain and shows respect to his teachers, coaches, opponents, and to the discipline of wrestling.
