WNY Athletics Girls Wrestler of the Week presented by D&E Dream Builders: Mina Vincent-Groves

East Aurora senior Mina Vincent-Groves has been selected as the WNY Athletics Girls Wrestler of the Week presented by D&E Dream Builders for the week of Monday, December 8th – Saturday, December 13th, 2025.

Mina captured her first career tournament title on Saturday at the Alexander Lady Trojan Girls Invitational Wrestling Tournament going 3-0 with a pin, a 10-0 technical superiority, and an 8-2 decision over the runner-up to claim the 132-pound title.

Mina is a four year varsity wrestler and a captain competing on the combined Hamburg/Frontier/Orchard Park/East Aurora team this season. According to her coaches, she is a quiet leader by example. Mina gets herself to practice daily and pushes herself in the room. Mina’s coaches speak highly of her character, work ethic, and her commitment to offseason wrestling. Outside of school, Mina has balanced work with her education and high grade point average to help achieve her future goals.

After high school, Mina intends to pursue an education and a career as an anesthesiologist.
