Frewsburg sophomore Bailey Fuller has been selected as the WNY Athletics Girls Wrestler of the Week presented by The Cottages at Bemus Point for the week of Monday, January 19th – Saturday, January 24th, 2026.
Bailey had a dominant week for the Bears posting a 7-0 individual record earning six pins and one technical superiority. On Wednesday Bailey earned two wins against CCAA league rival Dunkirk, first with a pin in the varsity dual and then a pin in the following exhibition matchups. On Saturday, Bailey led Frewsburg at the Gowanda Round Robin posting a 5-0 record including a win over a returning NYS place winner at 185-pounds to take home first place.
According to her coaches, Bailey has a fiery passion for wrestling and is a vocal team leader who holds herself and others accountable to achieve success. Her coaches say that her passion for the sport is ‘infectious’ and that her energy and enthusiasm have raised the bar at Frewsburg. Bailey is a three sport student-athlete at Frewsburg High School who carries a strong GPA while also participating in flag football and softball.
