WNY Athletics Wrestler of the Week: Codie Scotland

Lancaster senior Codie Scotland has been selected as the Section VI Division I G&G Fitness WNY Athletics Wrestler of the Week for the twelfth week of the 2019-2020 season (Monday, February 10th – Sunday, February 16th).

Scotland captured his first career Section VI title on Saturday at Starpoint HS. Codie is a returning sectional finalist and was a 3rd place finisher in 2017-2018. Scotland has been outstanding for the ECIC I champion Legends, posting a 45-1 record so far this season and capturing individual ECIC and Class AA titles while helping Lancaster to the Section VI Duals final and NYSPHSAA Dual Meet Championships. Codie is a leader amongst his teammates and sets the example both in the classroom and wrestling room.
