WNY Athletics Wrestler of the Week: Michael Schiffhauer

Iroquois junior Michael Schiffhauer has been selected as the WNY Athletics Wrestler of the Week Presented by G&G Fitness for the fourth week of the 2021 season (June 7th – June 12th).

Schiffhauer earned four pins and went 5-0 last week in all five of the Chiefs’ dual meet wins, helping the team jump four spots in the latest WNY dual meet power rankings. Schiffhauer’s current 12-0 unbeaten record mirrors the #4 Chiefs 12-0 dual meet record and the highest current ranking among Erie County squads.

Schiffhauer is a returning 3rd place Section VI place winner and 7th place NYS tournament place winner. Michael is also known as a hard worker and leader amongst his teammates.
