Niagara Falls sophomore Kayden Feagin has been selected as the WNY Athletics Wrestler of the Week presented by the SonShine Charitable Fund for the week of Monday, January 8th – Saturday, January 13th, 2024.
On Wednesday 1/10 against league rival HM North Tonawanda, Feagin earned a pin at 131-pounds to help #7 Niagara Falls take down the Lumberjacks in convincing fashion, 42-27, to remain unbeaten in Niagara Frontier League duals.
Then, on Friday at the Lockport Invitational, Feagin went 4-0 in the one-night-only tournament to capture the 131-pound title while helping the team to a top-3 place finish in the team scoring. Kayden earned three pins in those four wins and also earned a 10-3 decision victory over a wrestler he recently lost to by major decision.
In his first season as a regular in the Niagara Falls lineup, Feagin carries a current record of 24-8 and has placed in all four individual events he has participated in. Kayden has appeared in twelve duals for the #6 Wolverines so far, helping the team to an 11-4 current overall record and a 5-0 league record with only two NFL matches remaining on the schedule.
