WNY Girls Fed Hockey Tuesday Results and 3 Stars of the Night

Clarence, Amherst, Sweet Home (CASH) defeated Williamsville 3-1 at the Northtown Center. Emma Faso scored a hat-trick while freshman goaltender Hannah Barrett stopped 34 shots in the win.

Elizabeth Sidorski had the lone goal for Williamsville.

Gracee Donovan scored two goals to lead Monsignor Martin (MM)over Lancaster, Iroquois, Depew (LID) 5-2 at Holiday Twin Rinks. Emily Matthew, Kayla Blas and Alexa Groh also scored for MM.

Jeanette Szefler and Maddy Moran scored for LID. Goaltender Dylan Gorski faced 40 shots on goal, stopping 35. Grace Harrington made 17 stops to help MM pick up their first win of the year.

Reigning Section VI and WNYGVIHF champions Frontier, Lake Shore, Orchard Park (FLOP) rallied from a one-goal deficit in the third period to defeat Kenmore East, West, Grand Island (KenGI) 3-1 in their opening game. Brooke Becker scored twice including the game-winner while Mary Kromer scored the equalizer and an assist. Gabby DeMeo and Emily Kromer each had an assist. Tori Cottrell stopped 20 shots in the win.

Nina Stockman scored for KenGI while Ellie Simmons made 29 saves in the loss.
