Akron 33, John F. Kennedy 6


The Tigers trailed 6-0 at the half but scored 33 points after the break to beat JFK 33-6.


Cole Siska completed 4 of 10 passes for 55 yards and a TD. Collin Miller rushed for 224 yards and 3 TDs on 19 carries. Miller also made 6 tackles on defense. Blake Gerstung rushed for 33 yards on 3 carries and caught 4 passes for 55 yards and a TD. Gerstung also made 6 tackles (3 solo).


Albion 30, East Aurora/Holland 27


The Purple Eagles trailed 27-24 after three quarters but scored 6 points in the final frame to beat East Aurora/Holland 30-27.


Boe Preston completed 6 of 14 passes for 145 yards and a TD. He also rushed for 49 yards and 2 TDs on 8 carries. Elijah Doxy rushed for 115 yards and a TD on 18 carries and caught 2 passes for 49 yards and a TD. 


The Blue Devils were led by Griffin Houde who rushed for 123 yards and a TD on 23 carries. He also made 8 tackles. Hayden Fial rushed for 86 yards on 11 carries. He also made 9 tackles. Benjamin Ziegler caught 3 passes for 23 yards and 2 TDs.



Barker/Royalton-Hartland 40, Alden 21


The Bulls won a hard-fought game against Alden 40-21.


Tysen McCaa completed 4 of 5 passes for 64 yards and a TD. He also rushed for 54 yards on 6 carries. Joseph Reiter rushed for 161 yards and 2 TDs on 10 carries. He also made 9 tackles (8 solo). They travel to play WNY Maritime/Tapestry Charter this week.



Bennett 36, Lancaster 7


The Tigers pulled away from Lancaster with 28 second half points to win 36-7.


Jimmy Valentine rushed for 204 yards and 3 TDs on 28 carries. He also made 8 tackles. Dontre Hampton rushed for 171 yards and a TD, he also made 15 tackles on defense. Jack Eskridge IV rushed for 35 yards on 5 carries and caught 4 passes for 55 yards. Carl Barnes had 4 tackles and intercepted a pass. Na'Cere Johnson made 6 tackles and had a sack while Nah'sir Tillmon made 4 tackles and also had a sack.



Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton 42, Falconer/CV/MG 0


The Eagles defeated Falconer/CV/MG 42-0, and now sit at 5-1 in Class C South. 


Brayden Gibbs completed 9 of 16 passes for 143 yards and 2 TDs. He also rushed for 15 yards and a TD on 5 carries. Thandon Bensink rushed for 81 yards and a TD on 14 carries. Devin Hewes caught 5 passes for 82 yards. Asher Olson caught 2 passes for 44 yards and a TD. Tristen Gibbs rushed for 21 yards and a TD on 3 carries. He also made 11 tackles (7 solo).

Cheektowaga 27, Lewiston-Porter 21


The Chargers led 7-6 at the half and ended up beating Lewiston Porter 27-20.


Aedyn Fite completed 12 of 20 passes for 188 yards and a TD and rushed for a TD. Hea'von Lee rushed for 113 yards and a TD on 9 carries. Nico Nash caught 3 passes for 53 yards and a TD. 



Clarence 35, Frontier 0


The Red Devils exploded for a 27-0 lead at the half and beat Frontier 35-0.


Nathan Arnold completed 8 of 12 passes for 129 yards. Trevor Mueller rushed for 52 yards and 2 TDs on 4 carries. He also made 3 tackles (1 solo). Ryan Premilewski rushed for 47 yards and 2 TDs on 6 carries. He also made 3 tackles. 




Eden/North Collins 53, Tonawanda 16



The Raiders offense put on a show Thursday in their 53-16 win over Tonawanda.


Brady Waring completed 13 of 13 passes for 281 yards and 4 TDs. He also rushed for 33 yards and 2 TDs on 4 carries. Silas Nellis caught 4 passes for 144 yards and 2 TDs. He also made 10 tackles (8 solo). His brother, Isaiah Nellis, caught 5 passes for 71 yards and 2 TDs. He also made 3 tackles and intercepted a pass. Carter Bishop rushed for 64 yards and a TD. AJ Colantino made 7 tackles (3 solo) and had 2 sacks.



Grand Island 32, Kenmore East 0


The Vikings exploded for a 32-0 lead at the half and beat Kenmore East 32-0.


Anthony Mantione completed 10 of 11 passes for 223 yards and 4 TDs. Jonathan Neville caught 4 passes for 62 yards and 2 TDs. Nik Korte and Aiden Galligan caught TD passes.


Health Sciences/Buff Sc/GC 76, Hamburg 3


The Falcons exploded for a 49-3 lead at the half and beat Hamburg 76-3.


Kaivohn Pitts rushed for 434 yards and 9 TDs on 19 carries. Kevin Guy rushed for 163 yards on 10 carries. Guy also made 4 tackles (3 solo).


Honeoye Falls-Lima (V) 49, WNY Maritime/Tap 14


The Seahawks fell behind 28-0 at the half and lost to Honeoye Falls Lima 49-14.


Jaylin Coleman completed 7 of 10 passes for 40 yards and a TD and also rushed for 105 yards and a TDs. They’ll return home to face Barker/Roy-Hart on Saturday in what looks to be a must win in order to have a chance to clinch the final playoff spot in C North.



Iroquois 35, Olean 14


Tied 14-14 with Olean after three quarters the Redhawks scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to win 35-14.


Justus Kleitz completed 16 of 21 passes for 219 yards and 3 TDs and rushed for 22 yards and 2 TDs on 7 carries. Jackson Kwaizer caught 6 passes for 113 yards and a TD. Richard Donohue made 8 tackles (7 solo) and had a sack while TJ Domino and Nick Skutnik had interceptions on defense for Iroquois.

Jamestown 49, Niagara Falls 6


The Red & Green exploded for a 35-0 lead at the half and beat Niagara Falls 49-6.


Chase Bonta rushed for 55 yards and 2 TDs on 14 carries. He also made 13 tackles (5 solo) and intercepted a pass. Luis Diaz rushed for 36 yards and 2 TDs on 11 carries. Alaric Richards rushed for 47 yards on 9 carries. Drew Bloomquist, Eligh DeLeon, Richards and Jericho Thagard had interceptions. 


Niagara Wheatfield 27, Kenmore West 20


The Falcons trailed by a TD at the half but rallied to beat Kenmore West 27-20.


Chase Richards completed 11 of 17 passes for 175 yards and a TD. Richards also rushed for 23 yards and 2 TDs on 9 carries. Mason Meissner rushed for 97 yards and a TD on 15 carries and caught 5 passes for 131 yards and a TD. Robert Ferguson and Anderson Pierce each had a sack for NW.


Ken West’s Harlem Brannon rushed for 66 yards and a TD on 20 carries and caught 8 passes for 100 yards. Avahn Jackson caught 7 passes for 120 yards and a TD.



Lackawanna 18, Depew 13


The Steelers led 12-0 at the half and went on to win 18-13 in a highly anticipated Class B division match-up.


Maryvale 48, Dunkirk 26


The Flyers led 22-19 at the half and pulled away from Dunkirk with 26 second half points to win 48-26.


Tyler Kuerzdoerfer completed 4 of 9 passes for 62 yards. James Redd caught 4 passes for 115 yards and a TD. Kevahni Moore caught 3 passes for 70 yards and 3 TDs. He also made 6 tackles and intercepted 3 passes.


McKinley 38, North Tonawanda 7


It was a tight one after two quarters but the Macks pulled away from North Tonawanda with 30 second half points to win 38-7 on their senior night.


Kalaugn Ford completed 5 of 7 passes for 155 yards and a TD and rushed for 108 yards and a TD on 7 carries. Anthony Moore rushed for 219 yards and 2 TDs on 10 carries. Cardel Staples caught 3 passes for 115 yards and a TD. Kylin Williams rushed for 64 yards on 5 carries and made 8 tackles (6 solo). Jamere Hill made 15 tackles (11 solo) and had 4.5 sacks. Kamron Minter made 13 tackles (9 solo) and had 4 sacks. Antonio Broadus made 13 tackles (9 solo) and had 2 sacks. Tashawn Henley made 10 tackles (6 solo) and had 2.5 sacks. Kamron Williams made 8 tackles (5 solo) and had 2.5 sacks.



Medina 49, Cleveland Hill 0


The Mustangs exploded for a 35-0 lead at the half and beat Cleveland Hill 49-0.


Preston Woodworth completed 7 of 10 passes for 186 yards and 3 TDs. Christian Moss rushed for 151 yards and 3 TDs on 12 carries and caught 2 passes for 57 yards and a TD.



Newfane 36, Gowanda/PV 26


Newfane defeated Gowanda/Pine Valley 36-26 to remain undefeated.


Mac Capen completed 8 of 17 passes for 80 yards and a TD. Capen also rushed for 172 yards and a TD on 21 carries. Camryn Stover rushed for 37 yards and a TD on 2 carries. He also made 7 tackles.


For Gowanda/PV Carter Capozzi completed 14 of 25 passes for 235 yards and 2 TDs and also rushed for a TD. Winter Mentley-Peters rushed for 84 yards on 23 carries and caught 1 pass for 4 yards. He also made 14 tackles (10 solo) and intercepted a pass.



Orchard Park 48, Hutch-Tech 6


The Quakers exploded for a 28-0 lead at the half and beat Hutch-Tech 48-6.


Jayden Hassett completed 8 of 14 passes for 149 yards and 2 TDs... Jherek Breske rushed for 123 yards and 3 TDs on 10 carries. On defense Matt Wright made 14 tackles (12 solo) and John Meka Jr. made 6 tackles (5 solo) and had 2 sacks.



Pioneer 28, South Park 6


The Panthers beat South Park 28-6, improving their overall record to 5-2.


Isaac Platt (Pioneer) rushed for 115 yards and a TD on 25 carries. Rashawn Robinson completed 12 of 18 passes for 153 yards and a TD for the Sparks.



Portville/Cuba-Rushford/BR 68, Springville 34


The Panthers led 41-34 at the half and went on to defeat Springville 68-34.


Peyton Carter completed 4 of 6 passes for 115 yards and 2 TDs. Jake Zeigler rushed for 295 yards and 4 TDs on 28 carries and caught 1 pass for 27 yards and a TD. He also made 7 tackles (3 solo) and had 5 sacks.



Randolph 37, Cattaraugus-Little Valley 8


The Cardinals improved to 5-2 overall after beating Catt Little Valley 37-8.


Jaxon Morrison completed 8 of 11 passes for 151 yards and 3 TDs and rushed for 36 yards and 2 TDs. Kevin McElwain rushed for 91 yards on 7 carries and caught 1 pass for 12 yards. Syrai Johnson caught 2 passes for 43 yards and a TD. Alexander Garland rushed for 53 yards and a TD on 8 carries while Carter Conley caught 2 passes for 36 yards and a TD.



Salamanca 44, Fredonia 12


The Warriors led 16-6 at the half and pulled away from Fredonia with 28 second half points to win 44-12.


Warrior QBPayton Bradley completed 8 of 15 passes for 62 yards. He also rushed for 65 yards and a TD on 6 carries. Conner Seeley rushed for 248 yards and 2 TDs. Quinten Brown rushed for 74 yards and 2 TDs on 6 carries. Cruz Pennell rushed for 18 yards and a TD on 2 carries. 


Defensively, Thomas George made 8 tackles (6 solo), Brendon Ghani made 4 tackles (1 solo) and had a sack.

Silver Creek/Forest 47, Allegany-Lime/Hins 12


The Black Knights won for the 2nd time this season, defeating Allegany-Limestone/Hinsdale 47-12.


Will Duliba completed 7 of 13 passes for 130 yards and 2 TDs. Manny Sanchez rushed for 117 yards and a TD on 11 carries. He also made 8 tackles. Dom Anders caught 4 passes for 104 yards and 2 TDs and intercepted a pass. Gavin Delong rushed for 66 yards and a TD on 7 carries and caught 2 passes for 30 yards.



Southwestern/Frewsburg 27, Clymer/Sherman/Panama 14


The Wolfpack led 14-7 at the half but Southwestern/Frewsburg scored 20 points after the break to beat CSP 27-14.


Bradyn Fuller rushed for 204 yards and 3 TDs on 18 carries. Zach Markham made 11 tackles (8 solo) and had a sack.


Sawyer Whitney rushed for 129 yards and a TD on 23 carries for CSP.


Starpoint 29, Lake Shore 20


Starpoint came out on top versus Lake Shore 29-20 Friday night.


David Chase completed 5 of 12 passes for 58 yards and a TD. Victor Collins rushed for 82 yards and 2 TDs on 15 carries. He also made 13 tackles and had a sack. Brady Crissman finished with 7 tackles and intercepted a pass as did Tyler Owen. Cole Preisch caught a 15-yard TD pass.



West Seneca West 34, Lockport 6


The Warhawks led 17-0 at the half and added another 17 in the second to beat Lockport 34-6.


Mason Anderson completed 14 of 21 passes for 147 yards and 3 TDs and rushed for 42 yards. Jarod Freeman rushed for 88 yards and a TD on 12 carries. He also made 3 tackles.Alex Quarantello caught 4 passes for 37 yards and a TD. He also made 3 tackles (1 solo) and intercepted a pass... Troy Mobley caught 3 passes for 31 yards and 2 TDs.



Williamsville East 33, Amherst 7


The Flames exploded for a 26-0 lead at the half and beat Amherst 33-7.


Anthony Martis completed 7 of 11 passes for 87 yards and 2 TDs. Kyere Smith rushed for 73 yards and 2 TDs on 8 carries.



Williamsville North 41, Sweet Home 6


The Spartans led 19-6 at the half and pulled away from Sweet Home with 22 second half points to win 41-6.


Jordan Brown rushed for 267 yards and 4 TDs on 26 carries. Cal Rogers rushed for 4 yards and 2 TDs on 2 carries.


For Amherst, Tim Yap rushed for 22 yards on 7 carries and caught 3 passes for 29 yards. He also made 7 tackles (4 solo) on defense. Quinn Resendes rushed for 7 yards and a TD in the loss.



Williamsville South 21, West Seneca East 14


The Billies trailed 8-7 at the half but scored 14 points after the break to beat previously unbeaten West Seneca East 21-14.


Phillip Gangi completed 10 of 17 passes for 225 yards and 3 TDs. Evan Zankl caught 9 passes for 212 yards and 3 TDs. He also made 6 tackles (4 solo). Amir Ceasar rushed for 80 yards on 12 carries. Danny Lares made 8 tackles (4 solo) and intercepted a pass... Jaxon Swoger made 14 tackles (8 solo)... Sean O'Connor made 11 tackles (5 solo)... Connor Duggan made 10 tackles (2 solo).

Wilson 45, Franklinville/Ellicottville/WV 6


Wilson stays undefeated with a 45-6 win over Franklinville/Ellicottville.


Vic Cusatis completed 11 of 17 passes for 242 yards and 5 TDs. Michael Ruble rushed for 48 yards on 12 carries, he caught 1 pass for 65 yards and a TD. He also intercepted 2 passes. Brady Seeley caught 4 passes for 81 yards and 2 TDs. Ryan Hough rushed for 14 yards and caught 3 passes for 57 yards and 2 TDs. Brock Lepsch rushed for 67 yards and a TD on 12 carries. Nick Lemke rushed for 24 yards on 3 carries and caught 1 pass for 26 yards and a TD.



Monsignor Martin Assn


Canisius 49, St. Andrews (CAN) 20


Despite trailing after one quarter, the Crusaders scored 35 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, beating St. Andrews 49-20. With the win, Canisius improves its record to 4-3 on the season. Amir Hernandez led Canisius with 114 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. Jack Cullinan, Markel Hunt and Connor Gaine all caught TD passes while TJ Shuford found the endzone with a rushing TD. Matteo Brusco was 8 of 11 passing for 115 yards and the 3 TD passes.

St. Francis 59, Bishop Timon-St. Jude 35


The Tigers were leading 23-0 before St. Francis rallied to take control, winning 59-35.


The win gave Jerry Smith his 200th as head coach of the Red Raiders. Dom Cook Jr. ran for 94 yards (8.5 YPC) and a TD while Tyrone Clark Jr. went 14-120 rushing and three scores. 



St. Joseph’s Coll 35, Bill Crothers (CAN) 6


Owen Kicinski had 2 Marauder TDs and Peyton Keighron blocked an extra point. Dion Cheatam and Camrhyn Chinn caught TD passes in the win.


St. Mary’s 52, Holley/Lyndonville 0


The Lancers steamrolled Sec V’s Holley/Lyndonville 52-0.


SML is now 3-4 on the season and will play a non-league game on Sat.
